A teenager riding a scooter was killed in a crash with an MTA bus at a Queens intersection, police said Tuesday.

Saad Mohammed, 18, was zipping west on 89th Ave. in Jamaica on an electric NIU standup Kick scooter when he passed though a red light at 168th St. about 9:30 p.m. Monday, cops said.

He rolled into the path of an oncoming Q20 bus heading north on 168th St. and fell under its front wheels, cops said. Police say they recovered video showing the victim going through the red light.

First responders found Mohammed suffering from severe trauma to the head and body. Medics rushed him to Jamaica Hospital, but he could not be saved.

Mohammed lived in Howard Beach, according to cops.

The 33-year-old bus driver was not hurt and had no passengers. He remained at the scene and was not immediately charged.

The incident followed the death Monday of a scooter rider who collided with an Infiniti at a Brooklyn intersection, police said.

Early Sunday, a motorcyclist and a moped rider were struck and killed within three hours of each other in a pair of Queens hit-and-run crashes, police said.

And on Friday, a motorcyclist was struck and killed by two hit-and-run drivers who may have been drag racing on the Henry Hudson Parkway, police said.

Since Jan. 1, the city has counted road fatalities involving six people on bicycles, 14 people on e-bikes and nine people on ”other motorized” vehicles, including standing scooters and illegal mopeds.
